Meet The team
Courtney Patti, LCSW
Founder & Clinical Director | Warrior Psychotherapy Services
Specializing in trauma treatment and mental health care for veterans, service members, first responders, and individuals navigating complex life transitions.
Courtney Patti is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Founder and Clinical Director of Warrior Psychotherapy Services, bringing nearly two decades of experience working with individuals facing complex medical and behavioral health challenges. She specializes in trauma treatment and military behavioral health and leads a team of clinicians dedicated to serving veterans, service members, first responders, and individuals navigating trauma, chronic health conditions, and major life transitions.
Throughout her career, Courtney has worked in several respected healthcare systems including Children’s National Medical Center, Washington Hospital Center Outpatient Behavioral Health, University of Virginia Medical Center, Sheppard Pratt Health System, and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, providing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
From 2013–2021, Courtney provided services to service members with traumatic brain injuries at the Intrepid Spirit Center at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital, a satellite site of the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE). Through this work, she developed significant expertise in supporting active-duty service members, veterans, and their families navigating trauma, neurological injuries, and the complexities of military life.
Courtney earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Religion from Sweet Briar College and her Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America’s National Catholic School of Social Service.
Her clinical work focuses on adults whose lives are impacted by depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and unresolved trauma. Courtney utilizes an integrative and evidence-based approach including CBT, CPT, EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Alpha-Stim therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She also offers trauma therapy intensives, equine-assisted therapy experiences, and professional educational trainings focused on trauma recovery and resilience.

Outside of her professional work, Courtney resides in Front Royal, Virginia and enjoys horseback riding, traveling, fishing, and spending time outdoors with her dog and chickens.
Brianna Lauffer, LCSW
Senior Clinician
Works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Brianna Lauffer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in social work. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University and her Master of Social Work from Western New Mexico University. Her professional background includes work in child welfare, domestic violence support services, and medical social work.
At Warrior Psychotherapy Services, Brianna works primarily with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. She also enjoys supporting veterans, active-duty service members, and military families, recognizing the unique stressors that can accompany military service and major life changes.
Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Motivational Interviewing to help clients strengthen coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and build resilience.

Miranda Hope, MFA, LCSW
Senior Clinician
Works with adults experiencing trauma, grief, and emotional healing.
Miranda Hope is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in the counseling and mental health field. She has worked in a variety of settings including the Veterans Administration Hospital, Riverbend Integrative Trauma Therapy, Rappahannock County Public Schools, The Center for Grieving Children, and the Prison Yoga Project.
Miranda’s clinical focus includes trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, and life transitions. She integrates trauma-informed and mindfulness-based approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parts Work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), art and narrative therapies, and somatic-based practices to support healing, resilience, and deeper self-awareness.

Gretchen Lezcano, MA
Resident in Counseling
Works with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, substance use, and emotional challenges.
Gretchen Lezcano is a Resident in Counseling who earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University in 2024. As a veteran herself, Gretchen is passionate about supporting service members, veterans, and their families and understands many of the unique challenges that can accompany military service and life transitions.
She works with adolescents and adults experiencing concerns such as trauma, PTSD, substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and self-harm behaviors.
Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) to help clients build resilience and develop practical coping strategies.
